200 SERIES
The CEL-200 Series

With intuitive 2 key operation, the CEL-240 is an easy to use instrument designed to undertake noise measurements for a variety of applications.

By implementing the latest digital technology, the CEL-240 gives absolute reliability, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy and performance, all housed
in a rugged and compact design.

With the high resolution display unparalleled in such an inexpensive unit, the CEL-240 can display the time-history of noise levels, allowing an easy assessment of the current noise environment.

Features
The CEL-240 has a simple user interface using two ‘softkeys’, which represent options at the bottom of the screen, making the instrument very easy to use. Sound pressure and maximum sound pressure are
simultaneously displayed in either a numerical bargraph or unique graphical time-history display

Settings can be easily changed by pressing key. Both frequency weighting (A or C) and time weighting (fast, slow or impulse) can be specified. Calibration could not be simpler, the CEL-240 automatically recognises the application of a calibrator, and with a single key press adjusts the calibration. Instantaneous and maximum sound pressure levels are displayed.

These values, as well as the graphical time-history can be reset by pressing the key.

dB24 Software
This optional software allows the instruments’ USB output to be logged and stored on a PC in real-time. Sound pressure levels are stored by dB24 every second into a data file compatible with PC based spreadsheet applications. dB24 offers a simple and affordable way of logging the time-history of noise levels over a desired period of time.
