What we are doing at this
time
Following
the Government announcement on 23rd March, we have made changes to
our operations to adhere to the latest guidelines. We have taken
further steps to safeguard our staff and implemented changes to
maintain our services as much as possible during these times.
On-going
supply
Globally,
manufacturers are adhering to policy changes that are being
implemented locally. We are still receiving supplies and hold a good
level of stock of our popular products. We will continue to ship
orders for the foreseeable future, however please be aware that we
are working at a reduced level.
Service and
Calibration
Unfortunately,
we are no longer able to offer any calibration or repair services,
either on-site or at our laboratory. This was a difficult decision
to make but is one that we had to make to fully comply with the
clear advice set out for the UK.
We will contact all
customers directly who have scheduled calibration appointments
whilst our service is temporarily suspended.
We will resume
this important work as soon as it is safe for us to do so and will
ensure that the backlog of calibration work is cleared as soon as
possible.
Sales
Demonstrations and Sales Support
Our
Sales team are all available to discuss any equipment project that
you have in mind and can offer advice and training
support.
For those looking to benefit from additional
education during this period, why not take some time to visit the GSI Education Site, where you will find a number of useful videos and tools to
support your work.
Furthermore we will be offering some
individual training webinars, so if there is a particular topic that
you would like us to cover, please do let us know.

As
the situation of Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to
evolve, let me promise that supporting you, our customers
and our staff remain Guymark's highest priority. We
are closely monitoring the advice from UK Government to
ensure correct procedures are followed.
I wanted to
personally reassure you that we at Guymark are working very hard to
maintain our normal operation and continue looking after our
customers.
What
we are doing at this time
We
are closely monitoring the situation and setting measures and
policies to ensure business continuity for our customers. Prior to
the Government announcement on 16th March, we had already taken
steps to keep the business operating, protect our people and
maintain services. We understand that it’s critical we work harder
than ever to support you by maintaining reliable service levels
during this unprecedented time.
On-going supply
As
a distributor, we are working very closely with our partners to
ensure we maintain a supply of the products you require. We are also
planning to increase our UK stock holding, to ensure a continued
ability to supply. We will continue our daily shipments of
consumables and equipment orders are currently shipping in the
normal expected timeframe.
Service and
Calibration
Currently
our Engineers are still attending sites to carry out on-site
calibration visits. We will always check with you first to ensure
that it is still safe and appropriate for us to visit. If it becomes
inadvisable to attend to perform calibration on-site, or if you
would prefer not to receive visitors at the present time, we are
still able to provide a full calibration service at our laboratory
in Brierley Hill. Please contact us via the contact details below to
arrange this.
Things are, of course changing for everyone
quite rapidly and I promise to keep all our customers informed of
any changes to the current situation as soon as
possible.

Demonstrations and Sales Support
For
any previously arranged appointments, we will always contact you to
check that it remains acceptable to visit.
I am pleased to
say that we continue to be available to assist you with planning
your next equipment purchase and are still able to demonstrate our
class-leading range of products from GSI, MedRx, Maico and Otopront.
Alternatively, we can communicate via Skype or other methods
to demonstrate and discuss the benefits of our equipment. This may
be the ideal time to plan for some new equipment and we are more
than happy to spend time with you and provide quotations or advice
if you have a project in mind.
