The Maico easyTymp is an ideal handheld device for quick and easy middle ear screening . This unit is able to perform reliable tympanometry and ipsilateral reflexes in seconds. The easyTymp automatically assesses the ipsilateral reflex threshold without any user intervention. Has the storage capacity for over 1000 measurements with transfer of data to a PC possible.

This unit is ideal for performing screening tympanometry on any subjects where a 226 Hz probe tone is appropriate. The easyTymp can easily be held and operated with one hand. It is lightweight and very portable and comes complete with a carrying case and all the accessories and consumable to begin testing on receiving the product. The results are easily viewed on the full colour, high resolution display.

There is a 1 kHz probe tone option available to extend the capability to test from neonate to adult.

The tympanograms are measured across the +200 to -400 daPa pressure range. Ipsilateral reflexes can be measured at 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 2000 Hz and 4000 Hz at intensities from 70 dBHL to 100 dBHL.

The instrument comes complete with a rechargeable battery, probe tip and replacement, power supply unit, eartips in eartip box, calibration cavity, carrying case and impedance software.

Optional accessories include, external probe with status light, upgrade to 1 kHz probe tone, cradle with integrated eartip box, power supply and additional rechargeable battery, cradle with integrated printer, power supply and additional rechargeable battery, power supply for handheld unit and wall mount kit for cradle.
